About the Boot Camp
This boot camp, offered in partnership with edX, is made available through a unique consortium delivery model to provide skills-based learning to participants across Missouri and beyond. Participants will be taught by a university-approved instructor, while learning alongside students from other consortium-participating universities and institutions. Upon meeting the completion requirements, participants will be issued a non-credit Certificate of Completion by The Technology & Leadership Center at Washington University McKelvey School of Engineering.

When does the program start?

  • Class begins July 15, 2024
  • Live sessions are held weekdays from 6:30p.m.-9:30p.m. or 5:30p.m.-8:30p.m.

Can I keep working while attending the boot camp?

  • Yes. The program was designed for working professionals who are seeking to advance their current careers, enhance their skills for their current role or change career paths.

How long does it take to complete the program?

  • The program is part-time. Students can complete it in six months (24 weeks).

How much time do I need to commit to the course?

Our part-time program requires 9 hours of in-class time per week. In addition, you must be willing to dedicate a minimum of 25–30+ hours outside of class per week in order to truly immerse yourself in the materials covered in class.

Do you provide career planning support?

  • Yes. edX’s career service’s team offers all of our students career support and coaching as well as resume and portfolio support, interview preparation and experiential learning opportunities. Career services are also integrated throughout the course.

Do I need to have previous experience in programming or data analytics before applying?

  • No programming experience is required, however, it is recommended that applicants hold a Bachelor’s Degree or have at least two years of experience in business, management, finance, statistics or a related field.
